Vagdevi Vilas institutions, one of the prestigious educational institutions of Bangalore, was established in April 2004. To add a feather to its cap, Vagdevi Vilas Institution started a new branch at Varthur.  The Bhoomi Pooja was performed in October, 2007.  Vagdevi Vilas School, Varthur was inaugurated on the 6th of June, 2008.

Within a short span of one year, the school has scaled great heights on all fronts. The school got CBSE affiliation in the end of 2008. It started last year with classes upto VIII and this year IX  Std. has been introduced, which will progressively move upto XII Std. in the years to come.

Vagdevi Vilas School is coming up with hostel facilities for classes V and above and Day boarding facilities for classes I to IX at Varthur, I to XII at Munnekolalu

 The hostel has been built to accommodate 200 students. Its facilities allow students to actively involve in the widest possible variety of activities ensuring in its hostel that each student finds and develops his own individual talents. Our focus is on all round personality development of the child with holistic approach, so that a student becomes capable of achieving his highest academic potential alongside shaping his whole personality.
Students also get regular training in various activities like yoga, dancing, craft, painting, debate, dramatics, elocution, music,quiz,discussions, personality development sessions etc.
