The Investiture Ceremony for the academic year 2025-26 was held at Vagdevi Vilas School on 1st July 2025 with solemnity and ceremonial grandeur. The ceremony aimed to inculcate leadership, accountability, and service-oriented values among students, aligning with the institution’s vision of fostering holistic development.

The event proceeded with the hoisting of the school flag by the chief guest Sri K. Harish, Chairman, Vagdevi Vilas Institutions, symbolizing the ideals and aspirations of the institution. As the flag ascended to the notes of the school anthem played by the band, the assembled students and staff rendered a synchronized general salute, reflecting discipline and reverence toward the school’s identity and mission.

The newly appointed leaders then took the oath, administered by the School Pupil Leader, pledging their commitment to uphold the dignity of their posts and to serve the school community with fairness and responsibility. This solemn affirmation reflected the readiness of the council to lead with integrity and cooperation.

The Chairman, in his keynote address, motivated the newly elected leaders to uphold the school’s values and serve as a role model for their peers. The distinguished chief guest laid emphasis on ethical leadership, commitment to duty, and the importance of making informed decisions with empathy and righteousness.

The formal investiture was conducted ceremoniously wherein the students were given the school flags, sashes and badges, and were conferred with the leadership roles by the chief guest.

The Principal of the institution Smt. Padma Sagar congratulated the newly elected student council and motivated the students to lead with empathy, uphold integrity, and foster inclusiveness, reminding them that true leaders empower others and inspire positive change.

The ceremony also featured cultural presentations, showcasing the virtues of courage, unity, and leadership. These performances added a creative and emotional dimension to the formal event.

The Investiture Ceremony concluded with the rendition of Vande Mataram, echoing the spirit of patriotism and reverence for the motherland.
