The corridors of Vagdevi Vilas School were filled with joy, gratitude, and reverence as the students celebrated Teacher’s Day on 5th September 2025 with great enthusiasm. The day marked the   birth anniversary of Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan, the great philosopher, statesman, and the second President of India, whose life remains a shining beacon of knowledge and integrity. The celebration served as a heartfelt tribute to the guiding lights of our institution—the teachers who nurture intellect, inspire curiosity, and shape the moral fabric of every student.

The programme commenced with a solemn invocation and lighting of the lamp symbolizing the triumph of  knowledge over ignorance. Pushparchane to Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan was performed by the heads of the  institution, respected Principal Ma’am Smt. Y. Padma Sagar, R&D Head Smt Sindhu R., Deputy R&D Head   Sri Govindan and Academic Advisor Smt. Indira Nair.

The school choir presented a soulful song expressing gratitude and admiration for the teaching fraternity. The   students took charge of the day’s proceedings, organizing a sequence of performances that reflected both  creativity and affection.

A special assembly was organized by the students of Classes IX to XII, which included dance, skit, poetryrecitations, and musical performances by students across levels, dedicated to their mentors. Several games  were organised to encourage teachers to participate and enjoy the event. Students expressed their deep appreciation through handmade cards, speeches, and heartfelt words that touched every teacher’s heart.  Honourable Principal, Smt. Y. Padma Sagar, appreciated the students for organizing the celebration with  sincerity and grace. She extended warm wishes to the teachers, emphasizing their pivotal role in shaping future  citizens and instilling lifelong values. Her message inspired everyone to uphold the noble spirit of teaching and learning in all spheres of life.

The atmosphere was filled with applause, laughter, and heartfelt emotion, as students and teachers together  celebrated the sacred bond of learning and mentorship.

Teacher’s Day 2025 at Vagdevi Vilas School was not merely an event—it was a celebration of gratitude,  respect, and inspiration. It reminded every student that while a nation’s progress rests on the strength of its  economy, its soul is nurtured by its teachers.
