INTRA-SCHOOL ANNUAL SPORTS MEET 2025–26

The Intra-School Annual Sports Meet 2025–26 of Vagdevi Vilas School, Marathahalli was
celebrated with great enthusiasm and sportsmanship. A wide range of sporting events such as
Kho-Kho, Short-Pitch Cricket, Throw Ball, Shot Put, High Jump, Relay-Race and Table Tennis
were conducted, ensuring enthusiastic participation from students across all age groups.
The Valedictory Ceremony was held on Monday, 22nd December 2025 in the school premises,
marking the successful conclusion of the annual sports activities.

The programme commenced with the ceremonial reception of Smt. Y. Padma Sagar, Principal,
VVS Marathahalli, with the school band, followed by a dignified general salute. The
atmosphere was rendered serene with an invocation Song presented by the students.
The School Sports Captain delivered the welcome address, highlighting the significance of
sports in nurturing discipline, teamwork, and leadership among students. This was followed
by an inspiring address by Smt. Padma Sagar, Principal, Vagdevi Vilas School, Marathahalli
who congratulated the participants and emphasized the importance of physical fitness
alongside academics.

The cultural segment added vibrancy to the celebration. Students presented an energetic
aerobics performance, followed by graceful group dance performances by students which
captivated the audience and showcased the students’ talent and coordination.

Following the performances, the sports events commenced, reflecting true sportsmanship and
competitive spirit. The highlight of the programme was the Prize Distribution Ceremony,
where winners and participants were honoured for their outstanding achievements.
Smt. Y. Padma Sagar, Principal VVSM, felicitated the students and encouraged them to pursue
excellence in sports and life.

The celebration ended on a patriotic note with the National Song, leaving behind memories of
joy, unity, and achievement and the sports meet was formally declared closed.
The Annual Sports Day celebration was a grand success, fostering enthusiasm, teamwork, and
a spirit of healthy competition among the students.
